Frequently Asked Questions about

Balcony power plants

Can more than 600 watts be connected to an electrical outlet?

Yes, technically it's not a problem if you lay new cables for a solar system. Of course, you'll need an electrician for that. The electrician must also register the system, as solar systems with an output of more than 600 watts are considered "normal" solar systems. Registration with the grid operator is more complicated and can only be carried out by a certified electrician.

How can I see online how much energy my system generates?

When you first set up your solar system, the installer will create an account for you in the EMA Portal and provide you with the login details, which you can use to view your energy production. Simply download the EMA-APP from the App Store or visit the EMA Portal online at https://apsystemsema.com/. Enter the username and password you received from your installer.

What type of solar modules can I best use with APsystems microinverters?

The modules can be operated with micro-inverters as long as the voltage and current are not exceeded. Larger power modules will not be damaged. Typically, a DC/AC ratio of about 1.3 is recommended. APsystems offers module compatibility through our online compatibility calculator, which you can find in our library.

I can't log in to the system, what should I do?

First, visit https://apsystemsema.com/ to see if the EMA portal is down due to service or maintenance. If you are still unable to log in after 24 hours, please contact your installer to help you reset/change your username, email address, or password.
